WIHU HEALTHY AGING WORKSHOP CONCLUSION DECISIONS

WIHU HEALTHY AGING WORKSHOP CONCLUSION DECISIONS

1. The Islamic Civilization is a foundation civilization. Voluntary Islamic Organizations should establish non-profit aged care centers. Since the elderly need compassion and attention, the foundation can provide more loving and healthy services to the elderly on a voluntary basis, with the awareness that a smiling face is a charity for the sake of Allah.
2. Institutions with a wide service network related to elderly services should be established in all countries. Existing institutions should be strengthened and made competent.
3. Algorithms should be arranged for the follow-up and treatment of the health of elderly people.
4. Elderly care protocols should be established.
5. The elderly should be treated at home in their own homes and the elderly should be the priority of treatment.
6. Private and public care centers should be located close to hospitals in cases where the elderly need to be cared for and treated in a care center.
7. Care personnel should be trained to meet all kinds of needs of the elderly at home and care centers.
8. Digital applications, especially government applications, should be made simpler for the use of the elderly and access should be facilitated. Telephone and home health systems for the elderly should be systems that can be easily used by the elderly.
-The financial security of the elderly should be ensured.
- Palm reading, finger and face reading systems should be expanded instead of passwords.
9. For the needs of the elderly, an organization such as “Hello 112”, “Hello, I am elderly, help” should be established.
10. National aging institutes should be established in all countries.
11. It was decided to establish a healthy aging office of the World Islamic Health Union and Dr. Kemal Aydın became of Head Office of Healthy Aging Office.
